I Really Really Thought 2009 Would Be Better

But I was wrong...in fact, not even close. The federal government has lost their collective minds. And what really gets me is half the population of this country is cheering them on. Georgia Dawgs look nothing like the team I've been following for 32 years. I now hate Fox News. IRS is badgering me monthly. Money is harder to make, or more importantly-keep.

Oh yeah, we bombed the fucking moon.

Good Fucking Riddance 2008...

ok ok..not all bad but you have to admit..the later in the year it got, the more fucked up shit became. When a black-white man becomes president and that ain't near the worse news out there, yep, things are pretty fucked up.

First off I would like to say "Congratu-fucking-lations" to Barack Obama for his well run and very successful campaign. With George Gregori Bush giving the shop away there at the end, I doubt if we see anything that insane and fucking criminal coming out of Obama's White House (at least not on purpose) . Obama is a very intelligent dude who now HAS to govern thus he will have a record folks can run against in 4 years. Sure he's having some bumps in the road as far as his Chicago connections, but hey, you don't become president unless you run with these types and Obama has managed to stay pretty clean while doing so.

But back to the year we just suffered through. Gas prices and availability problems, all of our retail and banking institutions running out of money, insurance giants falling on their collective asses, people's retirement funds gone in a week, the war in Iraq is actually somewhat popular now (there's a big what-the-fuck), the new Pres says we gonna kick Afghani and Pakistani asses, Gwinnett County trying to enact a law where they can fine a citizen $500 for not recycling. Easy to see why I believe 2009 will be a fucking joyride after 2008.

One thing I have never grasped is this...we are in a war yet no one acts like it. Back in WWII the whole economy went to a war footing. Rationing, etc occurred and folks were asked to buy war bonds to bankroll the war effort. Just before the war when the world was in a serious depression, soup lines were the norm, 15% unemployment was common. Now, you don't see any of this bullshit, yet to listen to the talking heads we are almost in the same boat as then. I think they are lying...but that's just me.

Lesson to be learned here is, if this bothers you...get the hell involved. We are at the place we are because we have been too busy with all the other stuff to pay attention how imperial and socialistic our leaders have become. I can assure you they see no reason to change things.

Well, that's enough for now but I, for one, welcome 2009 with open arms, even with the knowledge that it probably will suck like 2008, 2007, etc did. But what the hey, we can dream right?..

Gwinnett County Schools Superintendent Tells The NAACP To Fuck Off..

and with good reason..these whiny bastards now have set their sights on Gwinnett County Schools as the nest target for destruction. This is a good followup to the post about white people not tolerating this crap anymore. School system has been chuggin along just fine, introduce some urban, parentless thugs and here comes the NAACP...fuck you NAACP..

SUWANEE - Gwinnett County Public Schools Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks refuses to apologize for a comment he made during a discussion about school discipline, the president of the Gwinnett County branch of the NAACP said.

Jorge "J.P." Portalatin, the branch president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said he met with Wilbanks on Monday to discuss the comment, which he previously called "biased."

"Mr. Wilbanks refuses to acknowledge that his comments were offensive," Portalatin said in a news release. "The inability to see from others perspective and apologize is unacceptable in a leader. His behavior (Monday) was condescending and he was clearly not open to constructive feedback."

Wilbanks made the comment Aug. 14 during the school board's work session. During a presentation about discipline in the school system, an administrator said the number of disciplinary panels decreased from the year before but there is still a disparity in the number of black and Hispanic students who are punished. The administrator then referenced a newspaper report stating Idaho is the only state where black students are not disproportionately punished.

"Do they have any blacks in Idaho?" Wilbanks then asked.

School board members have defended Wilbanks, saying they do not think the comment had a racial overtone. Last week, Robert McClure, who represents District 4, said he thought Wilbanks asked a rhetorical question that suggested Gwinnett, unfortunately, may not be able to learn anything from Idaho because the anomaly may not be statistically significant.

The U.S. Census Bureau's State and County QuickFacts show in 2006 less than 1 percent of Idaho's population was black, while Georgia's demographics show nearly 30 percent of the state's population was black.

In a statement released last week by the school district, Wilbanks said his comment was neither racist nor insensitive.

"Those who know me and my record are well aware of my commitment to raising student achievement and to providing safe and orderly schools for all of our students - no matter their race, ethnic origin or socioeconomic background," Wilbanks said the statement.

School district officials said Tuesday Wilbanks had no further comment.
